Microsoft Dynamics GP Support Consultant Position:

Tidestone Solutions is seeking a full time support professional with Microsoft Dynamics GP Application and Reporting experience to join our consulting team. This position may be a “work from home” or an “in office” position. Tidestone supports and develops world class business software solutions for our customers using Dynamics GP as the foundation and is very team oriented in our approach to supporting clients.

Primary responsibilities include telephone technical support using remote screen sharing software for Dynamics GP, including installation and upgrade support. This role will be shared with another support consultant, and there will be a wider group of consultants who can assist as needed. Training on “What’s New” and other GP functionality/modules will be required as well. In addition to supporting Tidestone clients, Support Consultants also provide assistance to the technical team in writing reports and developing Tidestone products for resale, as time allows.

A qualified candidate will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of Dynamics GP and some SQL Server Reporting Services.

The Dynamics GP support team reports directly to the Technical Director and will work closely with both the technical and application consulting groups to support Tidestone clients. As part of the Tidestone team, all consultants are expected to participate in some level of marketing activity such as creating blogs or webinars on how we are helping our customers (under the direction of the Communications Leader) and to provide training in specific areas of expertise.

Experience in the following areas, and a desire to learn in the areas that are optional are:

  • Team player with the ability to be self-directed – Essential
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP – Essential
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills – Essential
  • Experience working with SQL and SSRS – Essential
  • Have experience programming with .NET or other tools – Optional
