Dynamics GP Roadmap

Microsoft released a new Dynamics GP roadmap last month at the 2017 GPUG Amplify event. The new roadmap shows Dynamics GP continuing to be developed through 2019! See details below about the new features to be released with GP in the second half of this year, and what’s to come:

  • Workflow 4.0
  • Document Attach Functionality
  • Financial and HR Optimization
  • Power Suite
  • Other Top Features that have been requested by GP users

Not many details about the new GP 2018 features have been released by Microsoft just yet. However, we can expect integration improvements for add-on applications, additional business intelligence features through use of Microsoft Power BI, and a variety of other features that users have requested.

While we wait for more information about those GP 2018 features, we can tell you about the new features available with the recent release of GP 2016 R2. This is the first version of Dynamics GP to be fully cloud enabled with HTML5 Web Client and seamless connectivity to Microsfot’s Power BI and OData services.
